South Korea Shipbuilding & Marine, a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries Group, said on the 23rd that it had signed three LNG shipbuilding contracts with the Bermuda Islands and Panamanian ship owners for a total price of 612.2 billion won. Since the 21st, Korea Shipbuilding & Marine has successively won many shipbuilding orders, including LNG ships, container ships, liquefied petroleum gas ships, and petrochemical products carriers, totaling 2.4 trillion won. Samsung Heavy Industries also stated that it has signed contracts with African customers to build four LNG ships worth 815 billion won.
