A notification that you send to IB to inform us of your intentionto deposit funds into your IB account. A deposit notification does not actuallymove funds; you must make arrangements with your bank or broker to deposit thefunds.

This is essentially a "soft promise" that you will makethe funding action you selected in the application or account management. Somefunding methods, like ACH, will directly involve a movement of funds。
